Application Steps For BCPNP

Determine Eligibility
Review the requirements for the BCPNP stream you are interested in. Each stream has specific criteria, so ensure you meet the eligibility standards.

Create an Online Profile
Register and create an online profile through the BC PNP’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). Your profile will be scored based on factors like job offer, education, work experience, and language proficiency.

Invitation to Apply
High-scoring candidates are invited to apply for nomination through periodic draws. If you receive an invitation, you will have 30 days to submit a complete application.

Submit Application
Complete and submit your application along with all required documents. This includes proof of employment, education, language proficiency, and other supporting materials.

Nomination Decision
If your application is approved, you will receive a provincial nomination, which adds 600 points to your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, virtually guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence through Express Entry.

Apply for Permanent Residence
Use your nomination to apply for permanent residence with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Submit your complete application for permanent residence, including medical exams and police certificates.

Receive Decision
Once your application is processed and approved, you will receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR). You can then prepare for your move to British Columbia.
