Eligibility Criteria for Super Visa
Eligible Host
Your child or grandchild must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. The host must provide a signed invitation letter promising financial support for the duration of your visit. The host must meet or exceed the minimum necessary income, evidenced by documents such as a Notice of Assessment, T4/T1, or pay stubs.
Health Insurance
You must have valid health insurance from a Canadian insurance company or an internationally approved provider, covering at least $100,000 in emergency health care, hospitalization, and repatriation. The insurance policy must be valid for a minimum of one year from your entry date.
Other Requirements
You must apply from outside Canada. Complete an immigration medical exam. Demonstrate ties to your home country and a clear intention to leave Canada at the end of your visit.
