July 2025: State of the Express Entry Pool

In June, Canada issued more invitations to apply for permanent residency than it did in April and May combined. What Draws Took Place in June?
June marked an increase in Express Entry activity, with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) holding two more draws than the previous month. A total of six draws took place, inviting candidates through:
- The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP);
- The Canadian Experience Class (CEC); and
- Healthcare and social services occupations (category-based selection).

The federal government last conducted six draws in a month in November 2024. While June’s ITA total exceeded April and May combined, it remained below the highs of February and March, aligning more closely with January’s figures.
